Review by hotel critic
The DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge, located directly across the street from Breckenridge Ski Resort's Peak 9, offers spectacular Rocky Mountain views. Despite the ongoing renovation, the room and bathroom were impeccably clean, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. the lack of breakfast options and the uncomfortable pull-out couch detracted from our overall experience. the dated decor and the room temperature issue were minor inconveniences that we overlooked, given the hotel's prime location near town. The complimentary shuttle service to the surrounding boutiques and cafes was a nice perk, enhancing our convenience and exploration of the area. the Made Market and 9600 Kitchen and Bar on-site restaurants provided delicious dining options, though we wish the breakfast service had been available during our visit. Despite the shortcomings, the DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge remains a solid choice for those seeking easy access to the slopes and a cozy retreat in Peak 9. the blend of top-notch service and laid-back mountain ski town culture creates a unique atmosphere that resonates with the charm of Breckenridge.
